TIANS is seeking a professional coordinator for the Tourism Technology Project in Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will act as a technology resource for tourism operators and will carry out Nova Scotia’s commitments to the Atlantic Tourism Technology Project. The successful applicant will work directly with the association’s members, and industry stakeholders. Applicants should have strong communication and project coordination experience. This is an entry level position with the Association and work on other initiatives will occasionally be required.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities include:
Qualifications
n High degree of proficiency in technology
n Proven communication skills – excellent written and oral skills
n Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
n Proven project coordination skills and report writing
n Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Access and Excel
TIANS mandate is to lead, support, represent and enhance Nova Scotia’s tourism industry. TIANS is the provincial advocate for the Nova Scotia tourism industry and strives to enhance the industry's competitiveness and prosperity through increased professionalism and product development. In accomplishing this goal, TIANS works closely with many partners, regional and sector associations and all levels of government.
