In-Room internet - a necessity today

TourismTechnology.com in Nova Scotia

TourismTechnology.com was established in November 2000 through a partnership with the four Provincial Government Tourism Departments, Provincial Tourism Industry Associations and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).  The project is designed to assist the tourism sector in developing a competitive stance in the global marketplace through the use of technology.

Each of the four Tourism Industry Associations has a Technology Resource Coordinator (TRC) that represents TourismTechnology.com and works directly with the tourism operators in each province.

Currently, TourismTechnology.com initiatives are focused on enhancing technology applications and providing training for tourism operators across Atlantic Canada. For a registration fee of $125.00 + HST ($141.25), a tourism operator will receive:

  • a one-on-one mentoring session with their provincial TRC
  • a manual containing research and PowerPoint presentations on CD that will help educate and explain the importance of websites, online marketing, and closing the sale online.
  • a website evaluation of the business website

If you are interested in having a TourismTechnology.com one-on-one mentoring session to assist you with building your business website or to improve your current site, please download the registration form and return to:
